Unlike the majority of gyms, Fitness First gives members the chance to pay per month. In addition to the Ibn Battuta branch, there are other outlets around the city. Once you’ve joined one branch, you can use any other, and all of the group classes are included as part of your membership. Personal training is available, as are saunas, steam rooms and a members’ lounge, where you can unwind watching a DVD after your workout.

I just wanted to inform all the new members of Fitness first at the introduction level evryone is so sweet they promise alot like wathcing your favorite programme while doing your workout but it is so not true they will only have the channels that they want and even if you do bring up the issue no one is really bothered.Secondly when getting a personal training be sure about the person you choose coz out of the 4 i had this year only 1 was good .

Fitness first is just like any othere gym so please do not get overwhelmed by the display of instruments intially like i did.

One to keep your eye out on is the new fitness studio soon to launch in Dubai Marina in the lower level of 'Damac The Waves Tower'.

Wouldn't really recommed to anyone!!
You have a ridiculously long wait to use any of the gym equipment (although the variety seems really fabulous on the guided tour whilst the sales pitch is being sung to you). A work out which shouldn't take more than an hour sometimes takes over 2 1/2 just waiting on equipment to be free, owing to the memberships being oversold, and insufficient equipment!!
Joining is made to sound really easy (as is usual with such places!), but when you have to leave, suddenly they make it very difficult, and the "friendly" staff suddenly turn rude with a complete lack of empathy.
Bad experience with them.
